Founding Members



One of our founding members Raven was part of the intial team that started up the Australian Burlesque Museum as an assistant director, and was part of the initial fundraising effort to launch the museum. 


Raven is the Dark Prince of Burlesque and Mr Boylesque Australia 2012. Beginning dance classes at an early age his repertoire covers classic and contemporary dance disciplines supported by training in the circus arts. With a keen interest in the history of burlesque informing new and established performers of the art of tease, he’s toured the country and beyond to Berlin, New York and Rome gaining exposure with international audiences and to the diverse range of talents to be found overseas. A master of the neo style and fearless innovator, his routines are sometimes macabre, but always take audiences to the edge of understanding their own desire.  


Elena Gabrielle

Founding member Elena Gabrielle was part of the initial fundraising effort to launch the museum and was an integral player in planning and managing the opening exhibition ICONS in 2015.

An accomplished MC, Cabaret and Burlesque performer, Elena Gabrielle began her career as a professional performer and independent producer at the age of 19. Over the past 6 years Elena Gabrielle has produced and performed in many Cabaret and Burlesque shows in Australia and also across Europe.Her biggest accomplishment came this year when she co-produced "Burleskathon - 24 hours of Tease", a Guinness World Record attempt for the longest burlesque performance in History.

Strawberry Siren

Founding member Strawberry Siren was an integral part of the initial Pozible fundraising effort and was heavily involved in the planning of the premier exhibition ICONS.

Nicknamed “The Tarantino of Burlesque…. Both Sexy… And Dangerous”, Strawberry Siren has received many awards and titles over her 7 years on the International Burlesque circuit. In 2013 she was crowned Miss Burlesque Australia, in front of a roaring crowd and esteemed judges, at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne.
Burlesque is not Miss Siren’s only claim to fame. She has 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, in many different capacities. She grew up in the world renowned, Flying Fruit Fly Circus, touring and performing from the age of 11.  Miss Siren also produces Burlesque shows and events, such as Cabaret Cirlesque, Red Door Burlesque and Miss Burlesque Australia state finals. 


The Strawberry Siren's first real glimpse into Burlesque History was at the 2012 Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend, where she attened "The Titan's of Tease" showcase. After seeing all of the amazing legends grace the stage, she fell in love with their stories and was moved by their past's. She instantly started doing more research into the History of American Burlesque and has even been back to work as a volunteer at the Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend in Vegas.
