Mission Statement

The Australian Burlesque Museum is dedicated to the research, collection and celebration of the Burlesque performance artform throughout Australian history.

We think it's vital that this amazing history is preserved now, so that generations to come can rediscover the almost-lost stories of our unique history and the brazen women and men who were at centre stage.
